It's been 2years or so...

Post-prom + XIAOLONGBAO!

Pre-finals period with tonnes of assignment/revision/tutorials/tuition, just for the mad rush of A's.

Unfortunate enough, we have been suffering ever since the beginning of this year.

It has become my daily routine:
Get up, wash up, sit up, then a fierce battle starts in my mind -- should I read the textbook now or do some other stuff for a while? And no matter who wins, I always lose, for whatever I do, the alternative activity is lingering in my mind.

How apt is the title to our 2years man.

Now that A' levels are over, Cinny has graduated from college.

Prom and post-prom was a blast

(not forgetting torturous pre-prom preparation + primping for hours)

Snooze till 1plus in the afternoon with the girls in the hotel the next day.

SHOCK 1

I saw a mouse that's half the size of a cat while walking home just now.

Talk about taking things too literally, this is no exaggeration. eeeeeek imagine the nauseating deposit scrawling into the nearest drain with half of its longg fat greyish tail still sticking out. HUGEE. Rodents like this are simply what they eat and where they live. Gee, why arent the cats around doing their job?

SHOCK 2

I had the nastiest shock from my mum and two sisters. They planned their move, hid behind the stairway and sneak up on me in the middle of the night. Felt like being snuck up on and attacked. Didnt see them coming at all. And now look at how amused they got. How stealthy can they get. I even bought cheesecakes for them! Jacked.

Time difference between shock 1 and two is within a minute.

Little shopping throughout, probably only at basement and a little of level one, and would seriously love to re-visit though it's sooo out of the way.

We were sandwiched among a crowd of people we'd never met. After all, we were watching from a few thousands people away, standing on my tiptoes and peeking through heads wasn't quite like seeing it up close and personal. I would have had a better view from my living room couch. But, I asked myself if the trip had been worth it. No doubt,YES! :)

I realized that my motion sickness is getting better and better.

I used to get carsick when i was young. It was really pathetically horrible, imagine getting

nauseous whenever you ride in a car? People with motion sickness think that the

plastic/rubber seats in taxis are incredibly smelly.

I remember getting from serangoon to boonlay when i was a kid for a one hour journey, only to vomit by the kirk side

the minute i step out of the cab. Used to hate taking cabs, unless the day really calls for it.

Weirdly, I dont have this problem with airplanes and cruises.

And yes, trying to beat my opponents that day with Wolverine was classic hahah.

Oh, and if you were to see a miss call from me, it's very likely that

sudden playful laughs from a table at a particular corner (omg.!), champagne toast halfway through the wedding banquet

All of a sudden i felt like keeping a diary. I remember having one when i was 10 but it ended up

hibernating in my drawer after a month or so, and i havent been touching ever since.

So, i started hunting for a book which is gorgeous enough to be kept for as long as i remember.

Now that i cant find any, the feeling is dying down again.

Call it short-lived obsession, but then, i just wanted to keep those intrusive thoughts

in the working memory forever, without any obligation.

It should have been wonderful hearing from an old friend, but seeing her again felt, uhmm

awkward. Thinking back, we were once so so similar.

Classmates, dancers, friends who were

inexplicably close. Really close.

( uh we've seen each other thorough both in and out, literally)

However, she is the only one who made me realize how bitchy a young girl can get,

scheming at any cost. By any chance, our current life could just be the reverse.

i.e. I'll be the one dropping out of school and she could just be the one fussing all about balancing collage and life.

It's no wonder why people grow and move on.

At one level and without equivocation, she's been dearly missed. But, she's someone i hardly

call close now. I have no idea what was holding me back last night.

Perhaps, it was the MC from silver cross, perhaps the pain my heels were causing, perhaps

because how late into the night it already was, but all in all, they are

plain excuses not anywhere near acceptable.

I felt really helpless last night. I cant seem to help at all.

No doubt, we're not the same anymore.

Who gets to meet 4 different friends with no link whatsoever on board on such a secret hideaway for a mere 3days. Well, say thats creepy and i had that. I mean,it's quite a bit considering i didnt expect and want to meet any.

It's 3 days of eating eating and more eating! And i obviously don't like that. It's no exaggeration,really. Each time i feel like eating, im spoilt for choice, so there is no way you wouldn't be tempted to eat. Aside, shopping at the golden triangle at KL and casino at night.

Or do i say morning? since it's 5 am. I had fun in caribbean stud poker.

Nonetheless, a worthy relaxation away from Singapore.

so pretty,resembles traffic light. but no, the green one tastes like crap. mine's the white.

Dinner with dean at sizzler's was cool but i just had to choose the most conventional fish and chips for the night. its awesome though. ribs will be on the menu for my next visit.

can you believe i actually set my own fireworks? its so crazily beautiful :D its no wonder how people are doing so much but im always slow at matters. im glad that i went though.

Home visiting with 08s07 with the usuals was fun and mahjong seems to take precedence most of the time. I was at the jasmines and nat's place. Overall, the entire week was pretty much on holiday mode, apart from the heart-wrenching msa.

The saturday before cny was disappointing since nothing pre-planned was carried out.

CNY has been less joyous/mundane in a certain sense when you meet up with less relatives. ohmygosh i miss those cousins elsewhere in the globe and it feels queer meeting them once in half a decade or such.

Aunt's WEDDING on saturday, food was great and there was really nice champagne/red wine? for the toast, i had more than one flute and basically sat around feeling really happy and at peace at the world. So everything was all nice and cheery, and the best comes only at night. It was so hot and uncomfortable with the terrible headache that i couldn't sleep. Mum's face was thoroughly flushed for the night,hahah!

So, it's NEW YORK HOTEL for a night over.

It's been ages since we shopped at JUSCO + TESCO + HOLIDAY INN

It's a wonder how i get to meet relatives whom i've never met before each year.

It's like a broken part of your family lineage elsewhere of the globe.

It's memories like these you have to keep.

but that's how i missed the chunk fest :(

Waking up to seeing my own breath

Flurry transfer of activities followed by rides that turn 360 degrees, tried on for the first time!

Drawn on by SPACE SHOT which you could see from miles away. And YES, we were keen on it though pumped with adrenaline and winging but it was actually amazing with fabulous views over Genting. It's scarier than flying coaster but you will really love it a tad more.

Denied entry into CASINO ): who the hell told me it's 18years old for foreigners?!

Genting was not cold at all. Very much disappointing! It used to be really cold, chilled to the point where the water condenses into a fog.

So, there you will be, sitting gazing out the window at the cold crisp air and the leaveless trees, sipping tea with milk and sugar, watching the steam rise off of the glass mug.

Elsewhere, like shanghai earlier on, watching my own breath dissipate into the air as my fingers and toes once again know what cold feels like.

Multi-levelled living - shopping, street and skytrain

So we finally made it and although we're jet-lagged on the return, we're loving it. Maybe all, except for the penetrating coldness ): So,its pallor of skin against chilliness everyday, and that absolutely sucks.

You just can't get away from it now!

So,the BUND.
Built around the nineties to encourage business. The view is breathtaking as you can see the highest sky-scrapers (which, as most things Chinese, have a little Chinese twist and have a peculiar design), the famous television tower with its Pearls. If you go in the evening everything lights up to give you the impression of a modern city living in the future. It´s like looking into some science fiction city, as described by the guide, but kinda similar to Singapore anw.

At the water village, the river surprises because it´s sooo wide and it´s full of barges carrying merchandise up and down the river. It´s just like a road.

Last day,free and easy. I don't think any description or pic could do justice to the sheer mass of people, crushing coldness and miles and miles of warren-like stalls at the streets. It was definitely hard work but worth it. We then did the silly tourist thing of trying to find a vege restaurant with very vague description from our travel guide.

One of the semi-supper was at A & Ws which is like MacDonalds but better (come on give us a break, it's our last chance for fast-food). For those who know it - got a nice fiz of Root Beer float and curly fries. You get a sweet chilli sauce here alongside the ketchup- yum.

Another was xiaolongbao and BBQ food in the middle of the night. Seafood- scallops mussels are the love. Alcohol is available everywhere like free,cheaper than mineral water. Really weird,no? So,beer was part of every meal. Too much is bad so my special concoction, 50% beer + 50% sprite/coke. Really good,try it :)

Nice slap up meals to treat ourselves.

When there's no available cars at home, it can be really cool to take a public bus down to somewhere not exactly very near for dinner,with your granny.

Cooked, shredded chicken mixed with diced apples, diced celery, walnuts, mayonnaise, and a dash of lemon juice will be waiting in the cooler for us and anyone else who happens to be sitting nearby.

It's just the new kind of thing for us together.

Halloween was spent watching REC.

Had absolutely no idea that it was a spanish show till the character spoke! in fact,went in without knowing a thing about the show cos i chose it over THE COFFIN. i didnt even bother choosing that cos the trailer was such a major turn-off.

But,it turned out to be? erm,horror flick on zombie genre that was.. ewww!

Lots of running and shaky-cam shots ensue, with hysterical narration and supernatural realm.

The surreal use of grainy and fidgety camerawork works amazingly well though, and that's what makes it worse off. That may be the selling point of the film, but definitely not for me.

And critics gave the film astoundingly great comments, wayyyy too positive than i've expected. It was really, really bad and I can't for the life of me understand why it received the acclaim that it has.

Basically, i was there in the theatre purely for lunch (popcorn), people-watch (screams and swerves), sleep.

aside, FACEBOOK is giving me the creeps.

Unbelievably EMO,both yesterday and today.

Paranoia just sets in for no reason yesterday. i've never had this feeling before,and it never fails to torture inside out. going to vivo and cathay with them were consoling, at least i had great people who felt like me.

TODAY's gear-grinding, tree-punching, bottle-hurling angst is directed towards, what do you know, the workings of mankind. Now all students would feel entitled to voice a certain aggrievance post-examination, doubtless the stress of sitting and making a halfhearted attempt to take the course material seriously is beyond many. It made me think alot today, and saw many sides of things as well.

I’ve read and reread the review, reflected on my experience in school, and come to realize the true issue. Im happy that i improved,on scale,by a major bit just like jaslow. HAPPY for both of us!

Happy that everything has ended successfully.

several nights of rehearsals into the late night, eating durians for the durian shell as part of our props,heavy stage make-up, macdonald's for lunch on consecutive days,staying in victoria for more than 10 hours, preparing and setting up of photo gallery outside the theatre, doing rhythmic gym moves w rosemarie along the walkway, forced smiles though we were all really tired w lead-laden eyelids, climbing up dozens of chairs to cover up the air-con shutter cos we were all freezing even w our jackets! HAHA,that was a hilarious one!

AND,heidi kept trying to psycho me away from my notes.cos,she's done w her first semester.

The Japanese are undoubtedly famous for producing some of the strangest and funkiest snacks around!

This is the famous Shiroi Koibito representative of Hokkaido, born from Ishiya Seika's excellent techniques and passion for confectionary. The soft flavored white chocolate sandwiched in fragrant "langue de chat" cookies.

YUM! In simple terms: two pieces of thin but crisp cookies with a slice of white chocolate sandwiched between them.

It did not disappoint at all. The white chocolate melts in your mouth and the biscuit is so thin, yet firm enough to give a delightful contrasting texture to the chocolate. Oh, it was worth the money. Absolutely deeeelicious. The downside - it leave you wanting more. And more. And more. Meaning you'll either have to have great powers of resistance or a very big hole in your wallet.

These chocolates are famous, really. at first glace I had no idea these little pieces of heaven were in that plain old trolley. All that could be seen was rectangular and square shaped boxes, wrapped up in teal coloured wrapping paper.
but still,they were pretty darn good.

sometimes,its just another of those o' so frequent yet sudden food craves. AND I DONT LIKE THAT. cinny just sucha pig.

Rather than spending money on Singapore hotels, hostels or backpacker accommodation, my aunt had made the best decision in her life by engaging herself w the bestest tourguide with the brilliant-est hospitality,and by staying with a fellow member(:

i was like a tourist, visiting the same shopping malls,restaurants,sentosa as her.and had seriously wayyyyy eaten too much during that last week of june hols.

So,this was SENTOSA. i had this slightly mad bundle of idiosyncrasies and multicolored feathers on my arms! and omg,PARROTS're freaking adorable and huggable,and they can sing,they sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me! Come on in,baby, you know you are way too prettaye,the prettiest birds of the universe? but one thing for sure,parrots weigh a ton man,i had 2of them on my arms (: my sister,the brave soul,had 2 on her arms and 1 small one on her head.HAHA

but they just got to go for some nail-cutting sessions soon.its either they just grow too quickly or are just excessively-long. im just very glad that i had my jacket on just as soon as i step into the butterfly kingdom,mainly cos i love and want my nature quiet without crawlies man. and NO,in case you are thinking,they DO NOT BITE!

Parrots are fun-loving. One of the ways to have a parrot bond to you is to play interactively with the parrot. I was told that laughter and praise are the essentials to effective playtime. Parrots love to hear us laugh. Some parrots even laugh with us. o,the perfectest companion yea :D

i must say,it was a total BLAST!

the o'school dancers were FANTABULOUS! the boldest and most fearless ones are stealing the stage. They were certainly in the LIGHT.

There were crews from Japan, Philippines, Australia and the various polytechnics.

AND YEA,gona take up a new course in july. anyone interested in joining?

went POPEYE with the girls after that. HAHA,sorry man. we walked around aimlessly for more than half an hour,and omg,all cos i FORGOT the f way. and what's worse,we were all frigging tired and groggy from the late night. met various people though,lil' surprises here & there.

aside,gave VAUNT III a miss cos i chose to study! everything seems different now. on another note,not really,slept till 3pm still :D

I've decided to group those photos into collages! had enough of loadig bazillion photos with constant selection from the folder. but hey,at least i had them posted in pretty collages,haha omg,posted after close to ONE MONTH of return! i've yet to develop them yet:( before you go,you are taking forever to upload these photos,i admit im a superbly lazy blogger.cant help that man(: 28may to 3june. it's just a steal each day!

Incredibly awesome,especially with the rest of my 23 maties.

Jet-lagged and half-addled from the flight over, I somehow stumbled onto the coach at Narita Airport.

Japan is clearly a nation that worships shopping, a nation that has taken the retail experience to its bosom and raised in its honour a frenzy of what it is today. LOLS,a hypermarket for saints. haha yea,for us the SAJC saints man! You can wander into a Japanese department store and lose an entire day, without even scraping the surface of the mall. NONETHELESS,the outfits are darn expensive, but frigging alluring!

Much is given over to capsule vending machines, where for 200 yen, you can turn the knob and acquire a tennis ball sized bundle of mysterious plasticky toy goodness within.

And that's the odd thing: drenched by familiarity, as if I hadn't gone very far at all. Japan is familiar. It's as close as the back of your own head. From the Sony or Panasonic brand on your tv set to the cars in the street driving on the left, it all feels familiar. o yea,and the phones are darn pretty! but cant use them in singapore even if I were to get them in here :( Nevertheless, they've got it and they're living in it, damn them.

Perfection in small lil' things man. We troop off to various bulk superstores, to stock up on supplies. I totally love the packaging of all the food! darn exquisite and pretty :) Otherwise, I wouldnt have got myself a whole luggage full of foodies!

Of course, Japan isn't all skyscrapers, or shopping malls. It's a real place, with real people living in it, windows and around you on the pavement and the subway, and sometimes talking. And it's a real place with a countryside and plants and insects and birds and things, soil between your toes. I don't do soil much, me: I prefer my nature tamed and theme parked, and my insects quiet. important man! insects to stay FAR FAR AWAY from me.

Japan isn't just the land of extreme bathing: it's the home of ubiquitous onsen, steam, superbly incredibly scorching hot water, assumed minerals, lotsa etiquette bathrobes, naked people. HAHA :D but,its hard to imagine how horribly hot the water was. as in,H-O-T! I had soooo much trouble entering the hot pool. Im literally cooked after that:redness everywhere man. Gosh,just cant take heat! there are simply lotsa controversies here and there.

i LOVE (: their etiquette and mannerism. dam used to bowing after i returned. AND NO,not just me. the others felt this too.

I'm still wondering how much I missed (and how much of a fool I sound like to everyone else who's been there). But I do know one thing — I want to go back again.

HOCKEY FINALS

It's an action-packed hockey thriller edited with dizzying rat- a-tats of quick cuts that put the violent arena atmosphere in the viewer's face. The league is really about skill development, not mere competition. The intensity of the sport and the tricks to create breakaways drives the thrill every other minute, especially when you have 3 of your PAE & JAE classmates in the game.

Oh my, i can feel my muscles after the stretching maybe i tore a muscle or so.being in heels make your legs superbly weak&soft.
i dozed off while holding on to the sidebars STANDING. so i just suddenly twitched and my legs just gave way. darn embarrassing k! AND yes, the bus was dam packed and you have people standing just 0.000001cm away from you.

btw to the indian grp, you guys make a greaatt team :D

AND YES, trust me. it gets really freaky to have met wanzhen on the train while going to meet jas for the VAUNT III audition.so in the end, we had an unprecedented gathering.DAM COOL i know =D thts precisely what i call fate. and how we three really deserve to be known as CENTRAL! haha love you guys.

btw,VAUNT III was a great experience and had joy in each and every part of the modification or whatever acquisition of skill.everyone else was really good.and thanks Jas for everything tht day.

we were at Bugis last last (last) Friday! it wasnt easy for all three of us to meet but we did. (hundreds of stuff going on,hello?)

yep,im running for this.the interview was pretty much alright and the seniors & miss tay are real friendly and nice.and i've got a strange task: miss tay gave me $6 to cheer the rest of the group up.i think she just wanted me to get them some food but we simply added the sum to the original 50bucks given to us for sports day preparation.
Hopefully i'd get in but im frigging competing against 15 others who are just as good.NO, better maybe. oh my,slim chance. So,do VOTE for me :) VENN HOUSE!

Can I just say that Singapore's clubs fade into nothingness compared to this?

Ouh man, this movie makes me want to get up and have fun on the dance floor.

No dirty dancing, plain charismatic. everyone dances -- from break to ballet,freestyle to hip hop. and the list goes on.the big climax comes at the end. RAIN! gosh its real impressive.

Their concert was a great success. everyone's like training dead hard for the final showdown last thursday.and the curtain dance was great.

ASIDE, i thought AJC's form of contemp varies relatively from SA's.

uhmm like AJ's like contemp mix chinese dance with a somewhat slower tempo

SA's contemp has lotsa ballet techniques involved and it's super darn fast tht i cant catch up.

Pirouette exercise, or two, or three… This is when the dancers practise turning. it involves the execution of a periodic whipping movement of the head, so that the the dancer keeps their gaze on a single spot.ok, known as "spotting". ha yups it keeps the correct direction of movement.

lotsa chaînés,lotsa turn-outs and all.i cant grab those o-so-confusing terms.

AND NO, i didnt say tht was good. its giving me enough problems. PIROUETTE is NO FUN I TELL YOU! :( i feel like a one-year old learning how to walk,turning but not reaching,losing my balance and myself in the spins. basically,i think this is the main move tht i've to hurdle thru and im done.

gosh,im still thinking abt SC. the training for dance is darn tough and i think i'd probably drop dead after 2months of everyday continuous training while preparing for RUPTURE in july.not forgetting to include SYF nxt year.

im digressing again. ok back.

There are simply many different training programs that a dancer can follow on the road to becoming a contemp dancer and here,they adopt different methods.

Technique can also mean perfection in areas such as clean footwork, graceful moves, and overall correct positions and lines. i seriously want to further improve all these.

GOSH! im dam fascinated by this view. like entering another dimension of the middle european. o it's the SUPREME COURT! :)

i think the bug is spreading.

i just think ive driven apart from lotsa ppl. pri sch,sec sch,college,prev clique, basically everyone else. ppl have been telling me tht they are becoming anti-social. in this aspect,im not. its strange to see what is becoming of this world. i have the feeling tht im not accepting thse who are coming new to me. it's almost an oxymoron.

i was out with the 2e2s yesterday!

darn happy tht we all can still meet up despite aft 3years not being tgt in the same class. 16 people turned up! haha i think it's supposed to be 20 but it was proven otherwise in the mid of some confusion and misunderstandin in between.
anw cinny has unknowingly became the V.I.P of newyork newyork :) thts what i was labelled on the reservation list. hahahhaa and we were given a room.

had a great day with them even though we had alil hiccups here and there.

and YES,there's too much of a coincidence yst. i freakingly saw sooo many sa people, some in big big groups. but the most unexpected of all, i saw this girl tht looks far too familiar to be anyone less than a passer-by. I actually met someone on the same coach with me to TAIWAN! ha yups stared hard and long at each other and we were tgt throughout the 8days.dint keep in contact even though she was jus 2seats away from me.i remembered how everyone panicked when i drop my contacts and those ard me was frantically looking at the ground for the semi-invisible plastic tht still went into my eye for another week.

1. WORKING AT MANGO MSQ

i am now officially an underaged minor working for a minimum wage. though i've only worked for 7 days,there goes my first working experience. ha yups,everything was actually quite enjoyable and made lotsa friens, though the sales were really tiringggg.. for 3days i went home at 1am! ok this may seem nth much if i've been out playing, BUT THIS IS NOT, im working!

Don't know why i am so excited over something that pays a measly S$6 an hour. Maybe its the prospect of earning my own money, being independant and learning how to stand on my own two feet.

Or maybe its the sense of freedom that comes with being able to splash out on whatever i want without my mom telling me how i am wasting money/am a spoilt brat who doesnt understand the value of money or something like that.

ok, im back, alive and kicking, and NO, i was not blown to bits by evil suicide bombers on the plane. Half a month spent in TAIWAN, shopping galore! basically first week with SA TOUR, second week free & easy on our own at TAIPEI!
dont ask me why i took more than 3weeks to post this. maybe kinda preoccupied with work & school.

anyway thats not the point, point is that im sorry sorry sorry that i have not been updating as regularly as Britney flashes her crotch. So let me settle down , and type out a long long post about taiwan. I've got a few funny stories to tell you but haha, not now. nxt post mayb :)

Had an extremely tiring journey during the first week.

ONE important thing.
I saw 20++ relatives for the first time! AND no, its not what you are thinking: my father is not a taiwanese. OK actually I cant really figure this out too. To me, they are just there in taiwan. The main idea is that: IM SIXTEEN and i only just realised that some of my roots are there in taiwan. hahah kinda incredible eh :) I have 2 uncles which are 7 and 8 years old and another one which is the same age as me. and other grand auntie and uncles who are only in their twenties. NO actually, kinda cool!

bought alot of stuff in TAIWAN. shoppings bloody nice there. i love love love shopping overseas! no, im dead serious. i have no idea why most people think that overseas shopping is expensive. either they cant count, or they dont know how to find the right places to shop.

Another Thing: THE FOOD IN TAIWAN IS DAM OILY!!
And i'm dead serious. Definitely not complaining because im afraid of high cholesterol or anything close to this, totally no exaggeration.

the genting-look-alike, UFO. this machine can carry 40 ppl while the Genting one can only accommodate a pathetic 12. but before you can really enjoy the picturesque and scenic landscape feets up, it sends you crashing to the ground! This is at Formosan Aboroginal Culture Village which was established to preserve the culture, traditions and history of Taiwan's native aborigines. there are five theme parks here.

There are so many things i meant to blog about that i no longer know where to start. Graduation, school, taiwan, christmas, new year, work and funny occasions in between. the last month has passed in a blur because i've been too busy going out and having fun. NO, and to work... for 7DAYS!

Come to think of it 2007 has passed in a blur and 2008 has arrived. But i'm sure you have all read enough of "oh-im-so-emo-the-best-year-of-my-life-is-over" posts. So anywaaaaaaay.

New year, new life, new friends, new new year resolutions!

I'm not going to bother going over last years ones coz i was looking through my old posts and realized how unfulfilled they are. Not many resolutions this year though.

But wait, i am digressing again. I'm supposed to be talking about my new years resolutions right? I dont know why i digress so much when i blog. Maybe its because I am a female. and speaking about sexism i've got a story from Taiwan to tell about this racist guy.

Anyways, back to my new year's resolutions for 2008.

I had a super funny dream that day. And i blame it on the combination of too much thinkin cum too much lusting over that shiny little grey dress that i saw in Topshop 1 week ago, but was priced at over 100 bucks. My heart literally broke when i saw the price tag cos i knew i only had 50 bucks in my wallet :( cant use NETS!

AND my AUNT would be flying in from Amsterdam today. She would be leaving with us for Taiwan soon! gona go and get her from the airport in a couple of minutes time. YAY!!! LOVES!

ASIDE, DANCE EXAM YESTERDAY!!!!!!!! Freaking excited and scared. Must get at least excellence. The grade are as follows : FAIL GOOD FAIR (smth else) EXCELLENCE OUTSTANDING From what i remembered, it should be like this, in order of increasing merit.

Played pool but I still sucked at it ): The night walk was really fun and there's this orange-glowing-in-the-dark cottage. Lols, it is actually the toilet but Jas and i saw it as the ol' hut from fairytale. Jaslin is going to kneed her perfect guy from dough, can try soil, sand, seawater though.
Macdonald as our hideout late into the night. I think we were there at 4am. Only stayed for ONE NIGHT. Only slept for 4 hours but dint really feel tired.

Watched BEE MOVIE at Tampiness Mall. Tht may be a really dumb movie, but its definitely nicer than stardust! stardust is boring, or maybe it just doesnt interest me.
AND YES, lose a great deal of money in the card games. ok exaggeration but prob the worst off one.

Haha! havent been blogging for a long long time in history. And it will be my longest and only post fro the month, oh maybe for the year. hahs don't try telling me that it's LONG only because of the pictures. O'ld wait, I'll hella update for the taiwan trip! 1. Got a camera @ the suntec IT Fair! wanted to get winter wear but got this piece of sweety instead. Years after the first Sony cyber-shot series hit the market, it's still impossible to deny the cool factor of these little, snapshot cameras. It's obvious that Sony has continued to refine its stylish series of pocket cameras while retaining all the other nice features that have made their way into this line over time. haha pleasant and unexpected experience with the salesperson at the counter.

I cant wait to test it in the car.

I love the SL light function. how so? Its really dark in the car and here are the results :) dam RIGHT,can never achieve this for the previous d.cam with only auto flashlight

4. LOUSY DAY on 1 September 2007

dress with weird belt that folds on the left and not the right.only 4 people went for dance, giving teacher more chance to pick on our mistakes. Lousy heels that gave me blisters and sore. I thought it would be fine if i get another pair but nothing much different than before. the back and side of the pumps rub against my legs, ended up waling like a penguin with a limp. germaine said I look like I would fall any second. AND the plaster is friggingly useless! I went to buy heat pads from OG for the taiwan trip [yay!!!] but made Heidi wait for me for so long. I was nearly an hour late while meeting ger. hmpp great job CINNY CHIN!

On the pretext of watching the fireworks, people from random classes gathered for a night out on 09082007.

And YES,first time playing pool and finally realising the difference between billiard and pool.first time out with certain people till pretty late at night. We made our way to the new venue at marina waterfront bay. Most people practiced patriotism and were in red and white! I was thinking all funny after dance class. I was walking down the pavement when i saw many people selling small stuff like tissue paper and newspaper along the edge :S
And they seem really thin and look hungry.

Then it dawned upon me just how lucky i am to be born into my family. I mean, sure i don't have a platinum credit card of my own, but there's always mommy's card. And Ive never gone hungry cos my parents don't have enough dough to put bread on the table.

I remembered there was once when I was in Malaysia (or was it Indonesia?). I was feeling all sorry for the poor people and when a scruffy-looking woman holding a little kid approached my mother and I, asking for cash in the carpark, i just gave her some change and my packet of milo nuggets without thinking coz the kid looked seriously hungry. Yes and im serious. Then i stood there in shock as i realised i just gave away my milo nuggets and therefore had nothing left to eat in the car.

Then i started thinking even more.

Sometimes I feel really bad coz when you think of it, the $50 you spent on a dress could feed over 50 starving kids in Africa. Does splashing away your parents hard earned cash on shoes and clothes instead of donating it to the poor make people a scrooge who wont lift a finger to help poor starving little kids?

Are kids in Africa dying as a result of people's shopping? According to this, one child dies every 5 seconds due to hunger related causes.

I start complaining when mom wont get me the stuff i want, but now that i think of it, i could feed over 10000 African kids if i didn't get all my shoes and donated the $ instead. And less people would have died. :)
I mean, just saying, if all these hungry kids get into heaven and next time when we're all in heaven together, they're gonna be looking at me funny and be thinking
"see la that girl, she spent cash on pretty shoes while we died of starvation."

How will i be able to look them in the eye knowing that i had the power to save 100 people from starvation but instead, headed over to Topshop to buy a shirt from the Kate Moss collection? I mean if you think of it, is a pretty skirt endorsed by some skinny overpaid person with a pretty face that makes me feel like a million bucks isn't exactly the most important thing when compared to someone else's life right?

I'm suddenly going on this moral kick whereby i feel very guilty. Maybe i'll donate something or something. Or maybe I'll go out and buy myself some other stuff to feel better. HAHA!

You know how it is when you just feel down for no apparent reason and therefore lock yourself in your room with Lays, Pringles, or any sort of chips & juices, call anyone 3 times in a day and just basically rot in bed? You feel like crying your heart out for no reason other than the fact that YOU FEEL LIKE IT.

And then you pick up the phone to try to call someone and start emoing everything out but put it down because you're only like this basically because you want to wallow in a pool of self pity. OK even though you know your life is actually pretty damn good (most of the time) and calling to spill out all your stuff would totally defeat the purpose of being one for you'll probably get cheered up and therefore unable to wallow in your little swimming pool.

Will of The Heart from the BLEACH SOUNDTRACK and interlude by JANICE M.VIDAL are super good songs to play over and over again when you're not feeling right. Then when you play little scenes in your head, the haunting background music makes your life seem like a soap opera where the girls always wear waterproof mascara. If you get what i mean, NO BLACK LIQUID rolling down their cheeks. I dont seem to be in the right mind eh?

Marvel at this breathtakingly elegant performance as dancers suspended in mid-air move in harmony to the accompaniment of live music. Inspired by the transformative powers of the Greek sea-god Proteus, it is a site specific work that takes its shape from its environment. Along with the choreography and specially composed music, the architecture plays a fundamental role and makes each production unique. Movement and music become integrated with the location, with the architecture as the theatrical space. Directed by Wanda Moretti and Marco Castelli Small Ensemble, Il Posto’s vertical dance project has fascinated audiences through its interplay with structures and places as varied as bridges, towers, lighthouses, caves and cloisters.

Today wasn't one of those fruitful days that I've made out to be. Lecture and seminar about JLC and MACBETH. Dawdling at town. Dicussions and more discussions that revolved around the same few topics. Wait for people. Get surveyed. Get halted by scouts from imipteltd.. bleah.

But had an early birthday celebration for Sophia. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SOPHIA! :) Celebrate one more year of a precious life with a memorable group of people would allow her to rmb today right?

A DEJA VU-alike happened at SEOUL GARDEN just now. Like experiencing the feeling that describes an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all. Or maybe a parallelism to certain previous situation. Definitely not any kind of speculation or epileptic seizure. Ok,in a nutshell, it just feels really scary can. AND IT'S NOT MY FIRST TIME. That aside,I was wondering abt smth:
Imagine a quinceanera-style celebration, whereby one's SWEET 16 will be celebrated in a wonderland. Ask guests to wear formal attire and flamboyant outfits, and drink sparkling grape juice out of plastic champagne flutes. Decorate the space with streamers and fresh flowers. Serve fruits like pineapples, oranges and strawberries with sweet dipping sauces, and make a huge bowl of fruity punch.

She's not coming to Singapore this AUGUST!! gosh. Though having her vacation job now, she's waiting for her university admission and cant come over :( miss her hella loads.. havent seen her for 2+ years!
She sets me thinking about my education hey. Being only 2 years older than me,she will be entering U in another few months time.OMG She is only like TWO freaking years older than me lah.that means it will be my turn pretty soon.LIFE IS THAT FAST.

but come to think of it, she's been here twice but i've nvr been to her house! yea and the reason my mother gives is that she hates long hour flight.rofl 10 odd hours?hahah i've never been on one and will definitely utterly unquestionably suffer from serious jet lag.lols
